The latest addition in the new RUDDOG Racing family of competitive products is the RP542 engine series. 
 
After intensive testing and development, improvements were achieved in many areas compared to the predecessor. A newly designed winding package improves the power development of the motor and, in conjunction with the precision sensor unit, increases controllability and efficiency.
 
A focus of the RUDDOG design team was to lower the operating temperature. Thanks to large cooling openings, the weight of the RP542 could be reduced on the one hand and the air flow rate increased on the other. The collector ring now has cooling fins to improve heat dissipation. 
 
Optimized rotors are used for the various areas of application. While the Modified motors come with the 12.1mm x 5mm x 24.5mm rotor,
